Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Bobby Kolli are working together for the upcoming action thriller ‘Kaaka’. The team recently revealed that the film’s next schedule is set to begin in Hyderabad this week.
‘Kaaka’ to begin new schedule
The official handle of the film shared a picture of Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli from the sets. Sharing the update, the makers wrote, “Our #KAAKA will be BACK IN ACTION from September 7th in Hyderabad! A lengthy and crucial schedule featuring Megastar. @KChiruTweets Garu and the main cast is all set to begin.”The film marks the second collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli.‘Kaaka’ is scheduled to release on January 13, 2027, during the Sankranthi festival. Since the film has a fixed release date, the makers have been shooting at regular intervals and planning lengthy schedules to complete the work on time. Along with the shooting, the team is also working on the post-production process simultaneously, as per Cinema Express.
Teaser of ‘Kaaka’
The makers recently revealed the title and a glimpse from ‘Kaaka’ on the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s birthday. In the teaser, it shows Chiranjeevi as Satyam, a supervisor at Ammaji Aqua Industries. It shows a worker accidentally dropping a scooter key into a large tank filled with shrimps. Chiranjeevi then uses a large magnet to get the key back. But the magnet does more than just pull out the key. It also brings out several guns and weapons from the tank.Apart from Anaswara Rajan, ‘Kaaka’ features Nivetha Pethuraj, Sunil, Getup Srinu and Kannada actor Rachita Ram in important roles.
Release date of ‘Kaaka’
The film will hit theatres worldwide on January 13, 2027, during the Sankranthi season. Chiranjeevi is also looking to continue his Sankranthi success with ‘Kaaka’ after his previous film ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’, which released during Sankranthi 2026, became a huge hit.
