Enviro Infra arm gets ₹224-crore letter of intent from Tata Power for 180 MW wind project

Delhi-based water treatment company Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd on Wednesday (September 9) said its step-down subsidiary Suyog Urja Ltd (SUL) has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) worth ₹224 crore, including GST, from Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) turnkey works for a 180 MW NTPC wind power project at Parli, Maharashtra.

The project is scheduled to be executed by March 31, 2027. The scope includes wind turbine generator (WTG) foundation works, Balance of Plant (BoP) works and construction and commissioning of a 33 kilovolt (kV) transmission line.

Under the WTG foundation package, SUL will undertake civil foundation works for 58 WTGs, along with associated reinforcement steel and geotechnical requirements.

The BoP scope includes development of an approximately 39-acre storage yard, coordination and management of Right of Way (ROW) for material movement, construction of access roads, pathways and crane pads, along with other associated civil and infrastructure works.

The transmission line package covers route survey and design, supply and erection of poles and towers, conductors, insulators and associated hardware. It also includes ROW-related activities and installation of STATCOM and harmonic filter systems.

Shares of Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd ended at ₹205.90, up by ₹9.75, or 4.97%, on the BSE.
