Galwan to Sindoor, 'calibrated capitulation before China': Cong | India News

New Delhi: Congress Sunday accused PM Modi of “calibrated capitulation” before China, claiming the trade deficit with the neighbour has ballooned to unprecedented levels.A day after the meeting between President Xi Jinping and Modi, AICC spokesman Jairam Ramesh asked four questions to the PM, ranging from his statement giving a “clean chit” to China after the Galwan clashes to “allowing” a dilution in India’s stance about China-Pakistan nexus during Operation Sindoor.Ramesh asked Modi, “Did not your infamous clean chit to China – Na koi humari seema mein ghus aaya hai, na hi koi ghusa hua hai – on June 19, 2020 weaken India?” He said this followed the Galwan clashes in which 20 Indian soldiers died in hand-to-hand combat with Chinese troops.
