New York opened the game with an impressive 83-yard, 10-play drive against Dallas. Skattebo finished the possession with an untouched rushing touchdown to give the Giants a 7-0 lead in front of the home crowd at MetLife Stadium.

The touchdown was followed by one of the night’s standout celebrations. Skattebo performed a backflip in the end zone and landed cleanly. The unusual celebration drew cheers from fans across the stadium. The NFL later also shared the celebration on its official X account during NBC’s Sunday Night Football broadcast.
