Waaree Energies has received an order to supply 2 GW of solar modules from a leading solar developer, the company said in a stock exchange filing on Monday. The order was received on 21 September 2026.
The company did not name the customer. It described the buyer only as a leading solar developer and a domestic entity. The filing states the significant terms of the order simply as the supply of solar modules.
Order structure and timeline
The order is one-time in nature. The 2 GW of modules will be supplied across two financial years, FY2026-27 and FY2027-28. The filing did not disclose the monetary value of the order and describes its size only as the supply of 2 GW of solar modules.
