Lumino Industries Q1 Results | Net profit surges 32% as EPC revenue jumps 70%


Lumino Industries Ltd on Monday (September 21) reported a 32.4% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹40 crore for the first quarter, compared with ₹30 crore in the year-ago period.

Revenue from operations rose 19.3% to ₹521.4 crore from ₹437.1 crore a year ago. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 34.6% to ₹70.9 crore from ₹52.6 crore. EBITDA margin stood at 14%, compared with 12% in the year-ago period.

Lumino Industries’ manufacturing order book stood at ₹1,046 crore, while its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order book was at ₹2,013 crore. The company’s manufacturing business revenue increased 6.5% to ₹371 crore, while the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business reported revenue of ₹150 crore, up 70% year-on-year.

Order inflows of ₹176 crore during the quarter took the company’s order book to ₹3,059 crore as of June 30, 2026, down 2.9% year-on-year. The order book comprised ₹1,046 crore from manufacturing and ₹2,013 crore from EPC. Key orders secured during the quarter included an extra-high voltage (EHV) substation order from Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd.

Lumino Industries is developing its Ranihati facility to add 35,000 MT of capacity across three phases. The first 10,000 MT is targeted to commence operations in the second half of FY27, followed by approximately 11,000 MT in Q3 FY28 and approximately 14,000 MT in Q1 FY29.

Upon completion, the company’s total installed capacity will increase from 40,000 MT to 75,000 MT. The expansion will increase capacity across existing product categories and add the capability to produce high-tension (HT) power cables of up to 66 kV.

Devendra Goel, Managing Director, Lumino Industries said, “The leadership team at Lumino Industries is pleased to present the company’s first unaudited quarterly results following its listing on September 3, 2026.

The company completed an IPO of Rs. 700 crore, including a fresh issue of Rs. 500 crore, with net proceeds being mainly used for the repayment of borrowings and capex for manufacturing facilities.

Over three decades, Lumino Industries has successfully transitioned from a manufacturer of conductors and cables into an integrated business combining product manufacturing with infrastructure EPC capabilities.

Today, the company supplies specialised conductors and cables to customers across sectors, in particular leading the way in HTLS conductors in India, and selectively deploys products within its own EPC business.”

Shares of Lumino Industries Ltd ended at ₹113.40, up by ₹1.63, or 1.46%, on the BSE.
