While Navratna PSU BEL drew strong buy recommendations from global brokerages on the back of robust order inflows, healthy execution and rising earnings visibility, Maharatna PSU HAL saw a more nuanced view, with analysts flagging near‑term execution challenges amid platform delays even as the long‑term defence pipeline remains intact.
However, both BEL and HAL declined during opening trade, BEL fell 2.6 per cent to hit an intraday low of Rs 407, meanwhile, 2.12 per cent to hit an intraday low of Rs 3,592 apiece.
