The company said it had secured an order for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of 2 kW, 5 kW and 10 kW on-grid solar rooftop PV power plants across 9,937 government schools in 33 districts across the state, according to a regulatory filing.
The project covers an aggregate capacity of 46.7 MW and includes the deployment of Mono PERC/TOPCon solar modules, along with normal structures, RMS and comprehensive maintenance for a period of five years.
Mono PERC panels are monocrystalline modules using Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell technology, typically offering 20–22% efficiency and 520–560W output. TOPCon panels are an advanced solar technology designed to improve on PERC and PERT modules, while RMS solar systems use cloud-based or IoT-enabled remote monitoring to track solar plant performance.
The announcement also marked the company’s first major order from Telangana, said Vivek Gupta, chairman and managing director of the company.
The company said the project would support the adoption of renewable energy infrastructure across educational institutions in Telangana while contributing to the state’s broader clean energy goals.

The announcement helped the company break its two-day losing streak, with the stock posting its biggest single-day gain in more than a month.
The stock has, however, registered a decline of more than 44% year-to-date, while falling almost 63% over the trailing 12-month period.
Shares of Oswal Pumps are off the day’s high but are holding on to gains of 4.1% at ₹284.8.
