Analysts though, have warned that with the Nifty breaking key levels, there is a chance for the index to fall further to the 22,800 – 22,700 zone.

The major culprit behind Thursday’s sell-off was the Nifty Bank and now the bulls there would want to ensure that it does not close below 55,000 on a weekly basis, something that hasn’t happened since May this year.
Market moving variables more or less remain the same. Bond yields have sold off further with the 10-year now at 5.2% in the US, Brent remains near $106 and US Dollar remains stronger.
