International students from around 30 countries studying in India under Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) scholarship programmes participated in the concluding ceremony of Hindi Pakhwada 2026 in New Delhi.The students said Hindi had helped them connect with India’s culture, heritage and values.“India lives in our hearts. India has given us not only education, but also a deeper understanding of its culture, music, art, Yoga, language and human values,” they said.The ceremony was organised by ICCR on September 28.

ICCR Director General Nandini Singla said Hindi was an important medium for taking India’s cultural heritage, values and traditions to the world. She said the participation of international students reflected the growing global connect of the language.ICCR Additional Director General Rajesh Ranjan said international students sharing their experiences in Hindi was an example of growing cultural engagement between India and the world.
