NMDC | The firm reported a 7.7% year-on-year increase in total production to 4.04 million tonnes in September, compared with 3.75 million tonnes a year ago. Total sales, however, declined 9.5% YoY to 3.51 million tonnes from 3.88 million tonnes.
South Indian Bank | South Indian Bank reported a year-on-year increase across key business parameters in Q2. CASA deposits rose 17.56% YoY to ₹43,310 crore, while the CASA ratio stood at 32.12%, compared with 31.86% a year ago. Advances grew 18.67% YoY to ₹1.09 lakh crore, while total deposits increased 18.7% to ₹1.37 lakh crore.
Bharat Coking Coal | Bharat Coking Coal reported a 20.7% year-on-year increase in total raw coal production to 2.57 million tonnes (mt) in September, compared with 2.13 mt a year ago. Coking coal production rose 21.5% YoY to 2.49 mt from 2.05 mt, while non-coking coal production was broadly flat at 0.07 mt. Total raw coal offtake increased 13.7% YoY to 3.15 mt from 2.77 mt.
Punjab & Sind Bank Ltd | Punjab & Sind Bank reported a 15.77% year-on-year increase in total business to ₹2.79 lakh crore in Q2, compared with ₹2.41 lakh crore a year ago. Total deposits rose 12.98% YoY to ₹1.53 lakh crore from ₹1.36 lakh crore, while gross advances increased 19.4% to ₹1.26 lakh crore from ₹1.06 lakh crore. The CASA ratio stood at 82.19%, up from 77.79% a year ago.
APL Apollo Tubes Ltd | The firm reported its highest-ever quarterly sales volume of 963,143 tonnes in Q2FY27, up 12.6% year-on-year from 855,037 tonnes in Q2FY26.
State-owned Canara Bank reported strong growth across its business in the second quarter, with domestic advances rising 16.8% year-on-year to ₹12.63 lakh crore and global business growing 15.8% to ₹30.71 lakh crore.
