Sobha Realty Q2 Business Update
In an exchange filing issued on October 2, the company reported a 16% year-on-year increase in total sales value to ₹2,206 crore for the second quarter of FY27 that ended on September 30, 2026.
The company’s sales value, however, declined 40% sequentially from ₹3,656 crore in the June quarter. The quarter’s sales area stood at 1.42 million square feet, up 2.2% year-on-year but down 39.3% quarter-on-quarter.
The average price realisation during the quarter stood at ₹15,522 per square foot, rising 13.7% from ₹13,648 per square foot in the year-ago period. On a sequential basis, average price realisation declined marginally by 0.9%.
Sobha’s share of the total sales value stood at ₹1,882 crore in Q2 FY27, up 22.4% year-on-year. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, its share declined 37.1%.
Q1 Results
In Q1 FY27, the company announced a substantial year-over-year increase in net profit of 264.3%, reaching ₹51 crore for the first quarter, in contrast to ₹14 crore during the equivalent period of the preceding year.
Operational revenue expanded by 50%, climbing to ₹1,278.1 crore from ₹851.9 crore in the prior year.
The developer’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased to ₹77.6 crore compared to ₹23.7 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The EBITDA margin improved, advancing to 6.1% from 2.8% in the year-earlier period.
Stock Performance
On Thursday, the last day of trading this week, the company’s shares declined by under 1%. In this year’s trading so far, the company’s shares have suffered an even steeper decline of over 17%, taking the current stock price to ₹1,213.
