Disbursements increased by 27.4% from the same quarter last year to ₹3,095 crore, while total deposits rose 35% from the year-ago period to ₹16,184 crore. The bank’s current account savings account (CASA) deposits grew by 26.8% year-on-year to ₹3,142 crore.
On a sequential basis, Suryoday Small Finance Bank’s gross advances grew by 4.2%, disbursements rose by 4.8%, and total deposits increased by 10.6%. and CASA deposits were up 2.3%.

Within deposits, retail deposits rose 32.5% year-on-year to ₹13,670 crore, while bulk deposits increased by 50.1% to ₹2,514 crore.
The small finance bank said gross advances stood at ₹14,972 crore after considering a write-off of ₹591 crore. It added that it continued to cover its eligible portfolio under the Credit Guarantee Scheme as part of its risk management practice.
Suryoday Small Finance Bank’s collection efficiency remained strong, with collection efficiency for one EMI at 97.7%, while current-bucket collection efficiency stood at 99.1% as of September 30.
The bank reported gross non-performing assets (GNPA) at 2.9% as of September 30, compared with 6.5% in the previous quarter and 9.3% a year earlier.
As of September 30, GNPA stood at ₹438.31 crore, while net non-performing assets (NNPA) were ₹224.51 crore. The bank had provisions of ₹135.77 crore, and ₹180 crore was claimable under the Credit Guarantee Fund for Micro Units (CGFMU).

Shares of Suryoday Small Finance Bank jumped up to 4.6% to an intraday high of ₹150.19, following the September quarter business update, but have since pared those gains to trade 0.8% higher at ₹144.81.
While the stock has risen 2% on a year-to-date basis, it trades significantly below its issue price of ₹305 per share.
