NBCC floats ₹9,620 crore tenders to revive 16 stalled Supertech projects

State-owned company NBCC on Tuesday said it has floated tenders worth ₹9,620 crore for construction of 16 stalled real estate projects of Supertech Ltd.

Thousands of homebuyers have been stuck in these projects for many years, causing huge distress and financial burden.

NBCC’s decision to float tenders to revive the projects would bring some relief and revive hope of customers.

The 16 projects, spread across Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Karnataka, comprise nearly 50,000 stalled housing units, the company said in a statement.

“NBCC (India) Limited has taken a major step towards the revival of 16 stalled residential projects of Supertech Limited by floating 25 tenders aggregating ₹9,620.33 crore for construction and related works across the project portfolio,” it added.

NBCC was appointed as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for completion of these projects by the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) in December 2024.

The Supreme Court, in February 2026, upheld NBCC’s mandate, providing the necessary legal certainty for implementation of the completion plan, the statement said.
