Shares of Hexaware Technologies Ltd. surged more than 10.20% on Friday, October 9, after the IT services company announced a multi-year partnership with Anthropic to expand the adoption of its Claude artificial intelligence models among enterprise clients.
Under the partnership, Hexaware has become a preferred partner in Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network. The collaboration will integrate Claude into two of Hexaware’s platforms — Zerovity, its AI-native engineering platform, and AgentVerse, its agent-building and governance platform, which offers more than 600 pre-built agents.
Hexaware plans to use Claude to deliver outcome-based services across IT operations and software engineering, as enterprise clients increasingly focus on measurable business results rather than the effort involved in delivering services.
The company has more than 1,100 Claude-certified professionals. Hexaware and Anthropic will collaborate on go-to-market initiatives, joint solution development and customer deployments, while Hexaware expands Claude training across its delivery teams.
Clients will be able to engage with the partnership through two routes. They can begin with business outcomes through Hexaware’s Zero Friction Enterprise offerings, which target issues such as technical debt, security vulnerabilities, development backlogs, support tickets, process bottlenecks and software licensing costs.
Alternatively, clients can connect their development tools directly to the Zerovity platform, which uses token optimisation and built-in software delivery agents to support engineering workflows.
The partnership builds on Hexaware’s existing relationship with Anthropic, including its authorisation to resell Claude through Amazon Bedrock.
“Enterprises are focused on driving business outcomes,” said Siddharth Dhar, President and Global Head of AI at Hexaware. He said integrating Claude into Zerovity and AgentVerse would help clients move to production faster, with more predictable costs.
Hexaware Chief Operating Officer Vinod Chandran said the company’s pool of more than 1,100 Claude-certified professionals would help it and Anthropic support customers from initial proof-of-value projects through large-scale production deployments.
Anthropic’s Head of Partnerships – International, Era Sahni, said enterprises were increasingly deploying Claude across business functions and seeking partners to identify high-value use cases and move applications into production. She added that Hexaware’s existing work in IT operations and software engineering positioned it to help customers adopt the technology.
Despite Friday’s gains, Hexaware Technologies shares remain down around 25% so far this year and continue to trade below their IPO price.
