PTC Industries has raised ₹1,800 crore through a qualified institutional placement (QIP), attracting demand of more than five times the issue size from domestic and international institutional investors, the company said on Tuesday, October 13.
The Lucknow-based advanced manufacturing company issued 8,54,700 equity shares at ₹21,060 apiece. Global institutional investors accounted for a significant share of the demand, with Fidelity Investments and Capital Group among the largest investors in the placement.
The fundraise will strengthen PTC Industries’ capital base as it looks to expand its manufacturing capabilities and pursue strategic investments and acquisitions across aerospace, defence, space, energy and advanced materials.
This is a defining moment in PTC’s journey. The strong response to our QIP, and particularly the significant participation from global institutional investors alongside respected domestic institutions, is a powerful affirmation of the confidence placed in what we are buildingSACHIN AGARWAL, CMD OF PTC INDUSTRIES

Funds to support expansion across advanced manufacturing
PTC Industries plans to use the proceeds in line with the objectives outlined in its placement document dated October 9, 2026. The capital will support organic expansion, capacity enhancement, new projects and potential acquisitions across the group.
The company has been developing capabilities in advanced materials, metallurgy, precision castings and complex manufacturing for high-value industrial applications. Its subsidiaries include Aerolloy Technologies in India and Trac Precision Solutions in the United Kingdom.
Aerolloy is developing capabilities in titanium and superalloy materials, advanced castings and related manufacturing, while Trac adds precision engineering and experience in complex aerospace and industrial components.
Together, the businesses give PTC a presence across strategic materials, castings, machining and precision manufacturing, areas that serve aerospace, defence, space and other advanced industrial supply chains.
ICICI Securities and Goldman Sachs (India) Securities acted as the book-running lead managers to the QIP.
