Schaeffler India Q2 FY27 Results

Schaeffler India’s revenue increased to ₹3,089.4 crore in the July-September quarter of FY27, registering a 26.9% rise from ₹2,434.6 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Net profit rose 20.7% year-on-year to ₹349 crore, compared with ₹289 crore in the year-ago quarter.

The company’s EBITDA increased 17.8% to ₹537 crore from ₹456 crore. However, the EBITDA margin contracted to 17.4% from 18.7% a year earlier, as profit growth trailed revenue growth.

Commenting on the company’s performance, Harsha Kadam, managing director and chief executive officer of Schaeffler India, said strong demand from the automotive sector and stronger-than-expected industrial output in India had supported the company’s performance.

He said both domestic business and intercompany exports registered double-digit growth during the quarter.

Kadam added that rising input costs and a weakening rupee had marginally affected earnings quality. However, the company’s mitigation measures had helped partially manage the impact.

He also said Schaeffler India remained focused on delivering value to stakeholders, supported by its order book and capital expenditure plans.
