Titan aims to double jewellery business by FY30 as festive and wedding demand stays firm

Titan’s jewellery business is targeting a doubling of its size by the financial year 2029-30 (FY30), supported by healthy festive demand, a strong wedding season and continued expansion across India and international markets, according to Arun Narayan, CEO of the Jewellery Division at Titan.

Narayan said the company has entered the festive season with confidence after seeing sustained consumer interest over the last few quarters. He added that Titan’s internal consumer surveys also indicate stronger purchase intent compared with last year.

The executive said the company expects the ongoing festive season and the large number of weddings in November and December to support jewellery demand. “We’ve seen great interest in consumers in buying jewellery and also buying jewellery from our brands… that’s given us a lot of optimism in how the festive period is likely to pan out,” he said.

Titan is also focusing on differentiated product offerings across its jewellery portfolio. Narayan said each brand is aimed at a different customer segment, with Tanishq remaining the flagship brand, Mia and CaratLane catering to younger consumers, and Zoya targeting the luxury segment.

Speaking about Zoya, he said every collection is built around craftsmanship and storytelling. “Every piece of jewellery has a special meaning… every piece has an identity and a story to tell,” he said.

Beyond India, Titan is continuing to expand its international presence among the Indian diaspora. Narayan said Tanishq recently opened its 11th boutique in Los Angeles and now operates 20 boutiques across Singapore and the Middle East.

“The welcoming that we’ve received for our stores has left us with a sense of confidence to really expand and get closer to the diaspora in the Middle East and North America,” he said.

Titan plans to continue investing in brand expansion, design innovation and overseas growth while capitalising on favourable consumer demand during the festive and wedding seasons. Narayan said the company also wants to significantly expand the consumer base for its luxury brand Zoya over the next few years as part of its 2029-30 strategy.
