Union Bank of India Q4 deposits rise to ₹13.06 lakh crore, CASA up 7.9%


Union Bank of India Ltd. reported its provisional business update for the fourth quarter on Thursday, April 2.

Its total global business increased 5.79% to ₹23.85 lakh crore and was up 6.52% sequentially.

Its global deposits were up 2.72% from the previous year and 6.87% from the previous quarter at ₹13.06 lakh crore.

Union Bank’s global advances were at ₹10.78 lakh crore, up 9.76% from the year-ago period and up 6.09% sequentially.
On the domestic front, the lender’s total business increased 10.39% from the previous year to ₹28.45 lakh crore. It was up 2.93% sequentially.

Its domestic deposits were up 2.72% annually and 6.88% from the previous quarter at ₹13.06 lakh crore.

Union Bank’s domestic advances surged 10.06% to ₹10.41 lakh crore and were up 6.16% sequentially.

Its CASA was up 7.9% annually and 10.82% sequentially at ₹4.6 lakh crore.

Shares of Union Bank of India increased 0.6% to ₹172.68 apiece in the previous session. The stock has declined 9.7% in the past month but has gained 12.4% this year, so far.
