Shares of Ajanta Pharma Ltd. were trading higher on Friday, October 30, after the pharmaceutical company reported a strong set of results for the September quarter of FY27, with net profit and revenue registering healthy year-on-year growth.
Ajanta Pharma’s net profit rose 49% to ₹388 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with ₹260.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from operations increased 32.5% year-on-year to ₹1,794.2 crore, against ₹1,354 crore in the year-ago period.
At the operating level, the company reported EBITDA of ₹547.6 crore for the quarter. Its EBITDA margin expanded to 30.5% from 24.2% in the corresponding period last year.
Following the results announcement, Ajanta Pharma shares were trading 2.67% higher at ₹3,552.10 on Friday.
