Prince Pipes and Fittings reported a strong set of financial results for the second quarter of FY27 on Tuesday.
Its consolidated net profit more than tripled to ₹48 crore from ₹15 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue increased 38% to ₹821 crore from ₹595 crore in the previous year.
The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) surged 83.6% to ₹101 crore in comparison with ₹55 crore a year earlier.
Its EBITDA margin also expanded to 12.2% from 9.2% in the year-ago period.
The company reported a 22% increase in sales volumes to 52,080 metric tonne (MT) during the quarter from last year. For the first half of FY27, its volume growth stood at 7% YoY.

Parag Chheda, Joint Managing Director of Prince Pipes and Fittings, said the operating environment showed encouraging signs of stabilisation during the quarter following volatility in PVC prices. He attributed the improvement in the operating environment to the government’s implementation of a Minimum Import Price (MIP) on suspension-grade PVC.
Chheda said the company continued to strengthen its product portfolio through new offerings, an increasing contribution from premium products and deeper market penetration. Brand-building initiatives and efforts to expand its distribution reach also remain central to strengthening the company’s competitive position across markets.
Looking ahead, the company will focus on driving sustainable growth through volume expansion, a stronger product mix and increased penetration of value-added products.
“We remain confident in our ability to leverage our brand strength, distribution network and evolving product portfolio to capitalise on the long-term growth opportunities in the Indian pipes and fittings industry,” Chheda said.
Shares of prince Pipes and Fittings were trading 2.8% lower at ₹261.5 apiece at 2.17 pm on Tuesday. The stock has risen 5.9% in the past month but has fallen 2% this year, so far.
