Actor Jon Hamm slammed the Kansas City Chiefs for moving to Kansas on Wednesday. He expressed his anger on the New Heights podcast with the Kelce brothers.

Hamm recalled the loss of the St. Louis Cardinals in nineteen eighty-nine.
He noted that the Cardinals moved from St. Louis to Arizona back then.
The actor also mentioned the Rams moving back to Los Angeles years later.
He felt betrayed because the Rams won a Super Bowl in California recently. Hamm said he had nothing left in his hometown after these team moves.
“Let me give you the history of my football rooting,” he said on the ‘New Heights’ podcast. “1989, the Cardinals moved from St. Louis to Arizona, so we’re f**ked. Then, the Rams are in St. Louis. They move back to LA, they win the Super Bowl in LA. Got nothing left in St. Louis.”
He added, “Then, it’s like, well, at least I got the team in Missouri on the other side. Now they’re moving that to Kansas. So, where do I go from here?”
Kansas Lures Chiefs with massive three billion dollar incentive

The failed vote stopped two billion dollars in funding for the aging facility. Kansas legislators fast-tracked a massive incentive package centered on STAR bonds instead.
These bonds will cover seventy percent of the project costs for the team. This funding covers roughly two billion dollars of the total stadium price tag.
Sales and liquor taxes from the new district will pay back these bonds. Kansas residents will not see a general tax increase for this new project.
The Kansas City Chiefs were left with an aging facility that lacked amenities. This happened because the team lacked public investment following the failed April tax vote.
Chiefs Chairman Clark Hunt hinted that the team would begin exploring all options. Missouri struggled to find a new funding solution while Kansas moved very quickly.

The new Wyandotte County stadium complex will cost three billion dollars in total. This plan includes a one billion dollar training facility in the Olathe area.
The project also features an entertainment district to attract many tourists every year. Sportskeeda reported that the Chiefs will complete the move in twenty thirty-one.
The aging Arrowhead Stadium currently lacks modern luxury amenities for all NFL fans.
