Country singer and actress Reba McEntire is about to become a grandmother once again! McEntire’s son, Shelby Steven McEntire Blackstock, whom she shares with ex-husband Narvel Blackstock, announced he is expecting his first baby in a joint social media post with his wife Marissa.

The couple made the sweet announcement at Disney World on Wednesday, April 15, on Instagram, and wrote, “Oh, BOY! We’re beyond excited to FINALLY announce our little man is coming in October. See ya real soon, pal! Mommy + Daddy love you!”They posed with a onesie embroidered with a sleeping Mickey Mouse and “Blackstock, October 2026 ” in blue lettering. The following slides featured similarly customized Mickey Mouse ears, a blue-and-white cake bearing Mickey’s signature “Oh boy!” catch phrase, and images from Marissa’s sonogram.In other photos, the pair embraced in front of Cinderella’s Castle in the Florida theme park’s Magic Kingdom.

Shelby, a former NASCAR driver, and Marissa, who is an influencer and licensed esthetician, got engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2020. The pair tied the knot in 2022 at Disney World.In January, Marissa shared an Instagram update that she and Shelby, 36, were entering her second round of IVF treatments. “The love, messages, prayers, and support from friends and this community have been overwhelming in the best way,” Marissa wrote in the Instagram post’s caption. “I wish I could thank every single person personally. Just know we feel it, and we’re so grateful. Infertility is hard, but we don’t feel alone.Shelby’s son will be McEntire’s first biological grandchild. McEntire was a stepmother to Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband, who passed away in August 2025, years after being diagnosed with melanoma, a type of skin cancer.
