ACME Solar arm gets GEDA nod for 16 MW wind project in Gujarat


ACME Solar Holdings Limited said on Friday, April 17 that its subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited has received the certificate of commissioning dated April 16, 2026, from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) for its 16 MW wind power project.

As per the exchange filing, the project is located across villages Nana Morsal, Mota Kandhasan, Dhinkvali and Dhakaniya in taluka Chotila, Sayla, district Surendranagar.

The company said the intimation is in continuation of its earlier disclosures dated March 17, March 19 and March 26, 2026.

Earlier on Feb 19, ACME Solar Holdings Limited had informed that its wholly-owned subsidiary, ACME Urja One Pvt Ltd, has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with SECI Ltd for a 190 MW ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid project with assured peak power supply.

The company had said the project will supply hybrid power during peak hours and is scheduled to commence commercial operations by February 27, 2028.

Shares of ACME Solar Holdings Ltd closed at ₹304.30 on April 17, up ₹16.85 or 5.86% during the trading session.
