An important update for nearly 4 lakh retail shareholders of Sammaan Capital; Details here


Shares of Sammaan Capital Ltd. will be excluded from the Futures & Options (F&O) segment, according to the latest circular issued by the National Stock Exchange.

According to the circular, no futures and options contracts of Sammaan Capital will be issued starting July 1, 2026.

However, the existing unexpired contracts of April 2026, May 2026 and June 2026, will continue to remain available for trading till their respective expiry and new strikes would also be introduced in the existing contract months, the NSE circular stated.

Sammaan Capital has been one stock that generally continues to remain in the Futures & Options (F&O) ban, through a given series, exits the ban only when the series ends or close to expiry, and re-enters the F&O ban a day or two after a new series begins.

As of Thursday, Sammaan Capital’s shares continue to remain in the F&O ban, which means no new positions can be taken in the stock. The stock had entered the ban at the start of the April series itself and had stayed in the ban since.

Shares of Sammaan Capital ended 0.8% lower on Thursday at ₹155.2. The stock is up 11% over the last one month but is down 20% from its 52-week high levels.
