Stock Market Today Highlights: 30-share BSE Sensex gained 639.42 points or 0.83 per cent to end at 77,303.63, while NSE Nifty50 rallied 194.75 points or 0.81 per cent to close at 24,092.70.
Dilip Parmar – Senior Research Analyst, HDFC Securities, said, “The rupee snapped a five-session losing streak, rebounding in tandem with a rally across regional currencies. However, the mood remains apprehensive as the market braces for a potential intervention of RBI interventions around 94.30 and higher crude oil prices.”
On Friday, the Sensex dropped 999.79 points or 1.29 per cent to settle at 76,664.21. The Nifty slumped 275.10 points or 1.14 per cent to end at 23,897.95.
