Telecom infrastructure firm RailTel Corporation of India Ltd on Monday (April 27) said it has received a letter of acceptance from Eastern Coalfields Limited for an order valued at ₹145.47 crore, including tax.
The contract involves the provision of MPLS-VPN, internet leased line, video conferencing and managed bandwidth services for Eastern Coalfields Limited. The order is domestic in nature. As per the terms, the project is to be executed by May 2, 2031.
The company stated that neither the promoter nor the promoter group or group companies have any interest in the awarding entity, and the contract does not fall under related party transactions.

Earlier this month, RailTel Corporation of India said it has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited for an order valued at ₹255.27 crore, including tax, for deploying integrated tunnel communication systems.
The contract pertains to package II, involving the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of integrated tunnel communication systems across tunnels T-8 to T-11 and four stations, covering a section length of 36 km. The scope includes VHF simplex systems, CCTV systems, public address systems and emergency call points.
The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is classified as a domestic contract. The execution timeline for the project extends up to April 12, 2028. RailTel said the work order was received on April 13, 2026.

Shares of RailTel Corporation of India Ltd ended at ₹323.95, up by ₹8, or 2.53%, on the BSE today, April 27.
