The agreement pertains to the gas turbine–infrared suppression system (GT-IRSS) for naval vessels. Under the pact, BHEL will undertake fabrication, installation and commissioning of the LM2500 gas turbine infrared suppression system, which has been designed and developed by NSTL-DRDO in India, according to the exchange filing.
