RVNL bags ₹39-cr NMDC order for residential campus project in Hyderabad's Banjara Hills


Telecom infrastructure firm Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) on Tuesday (April 28) said it has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from NMDC Limited for the construction of a residential campus for senior and board-level executives at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad (phase-II).

The project is valued at ₹39.21 crore, including GST at 18%. The work is to be executed over a period of 15 months. RVNL stated that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and falls under the normal course of business of the company.

The project involves the construction of residential infrastructure for senior and board-level executives at NMDC’s facility in Hyderabad.

Earlier this month, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd received an LoA from South Central Railway for a project valued at ₹242 crore. The contract involves the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of overhead equipment (OHE) upgrades. The project will upgrade the existing 1x25kV system to a 2x25kV AT feeding system, along with feeder and earthing works.

The scope of work covers the Ongole (OGL) to Gudur (GDR) section under the Vijayawada division of South Central Railway, spanning a total length of 154 RKM/462 TKM. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and falls within the normal course of business of the company.

The project is to be executed within a period of 24 months. The total cost of the contract stands at ₹242.49 crore, inclusive of applicable taxes.

Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd ended at ₹308.50, up by ₹2.55, or 0.83%, on the BSE today, April 28.
