The order, awarded under UIDF funding, pertains to the execution of the Water Supply Improvement Scheme in Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation, Telangana, the company said in an exchange filing on Tuesday. The contract value is ₹458.69 crore, excluding GST.
The work order has been awarded by the Superintending Engineer (PH), Warangal Circle, Warangal, under the Government of Telangana’s Public Health & Municipal Engineering Department.

Indian Hume Pipe said the contract is domestic in nature and has been awarded as a percentage contract. The project is to be executed over a period of 24 months. The company said neither its promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the entity awarding the contract.

Shares of Indian Hume Pipe Company Ltd ended at ₹321.55, up by ₹3.15, or 0.99%, on the BSE.
