The company reported a growth of 5.3% on a year-on-year basis for its topline to ₹452.7 crore. On a sequential basis, the revenue figure is up by 13%.
Earnings Before Interest and Tax stood at ₹151.6 crore, a growth of 7.2% from the year-ago period to ₹151.6 crore, while margins expanded by 60 basis points from the same quarter last year to 33.5%.
For Newgen Software, the India business revenue declined to ₹124.3 crore from ₹133.6 crore last year. Revenue for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business remained flat at ₹137.5 crore.
Asia Pacific as a geography saw revenue growing to ₹84.6 crore from ₹69.2 crore, while the US business revenue grew to ₹106.1 crore from ₹88.5 crore last year. EBIT for US and APAC grew from the year-ago period, while it was lower for the same timeframe for its India and EMEA geographies.
Newgen Software has also approved a final dividend of ₹6 per share, subject to approval from shareholders at the company’s upcoming AGM. The record date for the dividend has been fixed as July 17, 2026.
Shares of Newgen Software are trading 9.6% higher after the results announcement at ₹526.5. The stock has risen 20% in the last one month, but is significantly lower from its recent 52-week high of ₹1,377.1.
