Ceigall India JV secures ₹918-crore contract for Jaipur Metro Phase-II


Ceigall India Limited (CIL) has announced that its joint venture has secured a major contract worth ₹918 crore for the expansion of the Jaipur Metro. The company confirmed that CIL–SAM India JV, received the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) on May 1 from Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.

The project highlights the growing focus on improving city connectivity and strengthening public transport infrastructure.

Joint venture and project scope

The contract has been awarded by Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd to the CIL–SAM India joint venture, which includes Ceigall India Limited holding a 74% stake and SAM India Builtwell Pvt. Ltd. with a 26% stake. The Letter of Acceptance (LoA) covers the design and construction of key infrastructure under Jaipur Metro Phase-II MRTS.
As part of the project, the joint venture will develop an elevated viaduct along with ten elevated metro stations. These stations include Prahladpura, Manpura, Bilwa Kalan, Bilwa, Goner Mod, Sitapura, JECC, Kumbha Marg, Haldighati Gate, and Pinjrapole Gaushala. The scope also includes a spur line connecting to the depot, although architectural finishing works are excluded from the package.

Timeline and project details

Spanning a total length of 10.8 km, the project will be executed over a period of 34 months. The total contract value stands at ₹918.04 crore, inclusive of 18% GST. The development is part of the broader Jaipur Metro Phase-II expansion aimed at improving connectivity and easing mobility in the city.
