Axis Mutual Fund to halt fresh inflows in three international schemes from May 6

Union Mutual Fund launches Arthaya SIF with equity long-short strategy

Axis Mutual Fund will temporarily restrict fresh inflows into three of its international funds from May 6.

The asset manager will suspend subscriptions in the Axis Global Equity Alpha FoF, Axis Global Innovation FoF, and Axis Greater China Equity FoF effective Wednresday (May 6).

The restriction will apply to all new and additional investments, including lump sum purchases, switch-ins, and fresh registrations of Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) and Systematic Transfer Plans (STPs).

However, existing investors will not be impacted in terms of liquidity.

Redemptions and switch-outs will continue as normal, and already registered systematic transactions will also remain unaffected.

The move only curbs new inflows into the schemes, while allowing current investments and investor exit options to function without disruption.
