Birlasoft Q4 profit jumps 44% to ₹175.9 crore; margin expands to 18.5%

Chennai Petroleum Q4 Results: Net profit jumps 42%, revenue up 7%; dividend declared


The IT services company Birlasoft reported a 44.1% year-on-year rise in Q4 net profit to ₹175.9 crore, compared with ₹122 crore in the same period last year, driven by improved operating performance.

Revenue for the quarter grew 2.4% to ₹1,349 crore from ₹1,317 crore a year ago, while EBITDA increased 43.6% to ₹249.1 crore from ₹173.5 crore.

EBITDA margin expanded to 18.5% from 13.2% in the year-ago period.

The board has recommended a final dividend of ₹4 per equity share of face value ₹2 each (200%) for FY26, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general meeting.

The company said the AGM date will be announced in due course and the dividend, if approved, will be paid within statutory timelines.

Separately, the company designated Mohanraj Janakiraman, Senior Vice President–Sales, as senior management personnel with effect from May 6, 2026.

Shares of Birlasoft ended at ₹372.50 on the NSE on May 6, up ₹2.50 or 0.68% for the day.
