The new portfolio includes the AU Ananta, AU Laksya, AU Tejas and AU Prathama credit cards, aimed at affluent customers, mid-career professionals, young salaried users and first-time credit users, respectively.
The bank said the products have been designed to address changing spending patterns and lifestyle preferences in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities. The cards offer features such as reward points, cashback offers, airport lounge access, movie benefits, travel-related offers and fuel surcharge waivers.
AU Small Finance Bank has also introduced a feature that allows eligible cardholders to access complimentary airport lounges when booking flight tickets through the AU Rewardz platform.
According to the bank, the annual membership fee on the cards can be reversed upon achieving specified spending thresholds. The portfolio also includes no-cost EMI options on select travel bookings and zero processing fees on some EMI conversions.
Yogesh Jain, Chief Operating Officer at AU Small Finance Bank, said the bank aims to build a lifecycle-based credit card offering aligned with changing customer preferences and its digital banking strategy.
The launch comes as banks continue to expand credit card offerings amid rising digital payments and increased consumer spending across categories such as travel, entertainment, grocery and online commerce.
AU Small Finance Bank, which began banking operations in 2017, recently received in-principle approval from the Reserve Bank of India to transition into a universal bank.
