Mohanlal is set to reprise one of his most iconic roles as Georgekutty in ‘Drishyam 3,’ the third installment in director Jeethu Joseph’s hugely successful thriller franchise. Expectations for the film are quite high, and the audience is already booking tickets in advance, fearing the climax might be spoiled after the first shows.

According to reports, worldwide opening-day advance bookings have crossed Rs 21 crore gross, with sales continuing to rise rapidly.Film analyst AB George shared on X, “#Drishyam3 WORLDWIDE PRESALES FIRRRRING Day 1 presale – all set to cross 20 Crores soon 17+ Crores as of now Lalettan’s 4th 20+ Crores opening loading Most for any Mollywood actors by miles.”

Kerala leads the domestic response for Mohanlal’s film

Kerala has emerged as the strongest contributor to domestic pre-sales. Advance bookings in the state are estimated at approximately Rs 5.50 crore gross as reported by Sacnilk.Across India, total advance sales are believed to be nearing Rs 9 crore gross. Strong demand has also been reported from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and other major territories where dubbed versions are set to release. The film will open in Malayalam along with Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada versions.

Overseas markets deliver massive support for ‘Drishyam 3’

The Gulf region continues to lead overseas sales, while North America, the United Kingdom, and Australia are also reporting excellent booking trends.If the current pace continues, trade observers believe advance bookings could exceed Rs 25 crore gross globally before the first show begins.
