Revenue for the quarter rose 2.1% quarter-on-quarter to ₹34,773 crore, compared with ₹34,050 crore in the previous quarter, and came above the CNBC-TV18 estimate of ₹33,266 crore.
EBITDA declined 56.6% quarter-on-quarter to ₹1,152 crore, compared with ₹2,655 crore earlier, and fell short of the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of ₹2,342 crore. EBITDA margin stood at 3.3% versus 7.8% in the previous quarter and 7% as per estimates.

The company reported revenue from operations of ₹1,38,697 crore in FY26, compared with ₹1,37,288 crore in FY25. EBITDA stood at ₹13,119 crore versus ₹19,168 crore in the previous year, while profit before tax declined to ₹8,964 crore from ₹14,825 crore. Profit after tax stood at ₹6,968 crore, compared with ₹11,312 crore in FY25.
On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations in FY26 stood at ₹1,42,094 crore, compared with ₹1,42,290 crore in FY25. EBITDA declined to ₹14,524 crore from ₹20,635 crore, while profit before tax stood at ₹9,725 crore versus ₹16,095 crore. Profit after tax (excluding minority interest) stood at ₹7,582 crore, compared with ₹12,450 crore in the previous year.
For Q4 FY26, consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹35,705 crore, compared with ₹35,303 crore in Q3 FY26. EBITDA stood at ₹2,703 crore versus ₹3,610 crore in the previous quarter. Profit before tax stood at ₹1,966 crore compared with ₹2,165 crore, while profit after tax (excluding minority interest) stood at ₹1,485 crore versus ₹1,756 crore.

The company said capital expenditure during FY26 stood at ₹9,594 crore, primarily towards pipeline infrastructure, petrochemical projects, operational capex and equity contributions to joint ventures and subsidiaries.
Operationally, natural gas transmission volume stood at 122.18 MMSCMD in FY26 compared with 127.32 MMSCMD in FY25. Gas marketing volume increased to 104.21 MMSCMD from 101.49 MMSCMD, while LHC (Light Hydrocarbons) production declined to 813 TMT from 947 TMT.
GAIL India Ltd board recommended a final dividend of 5% (₹0.50 per equity share) on paid-up equity capital, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. The record date will be announced separately.
Shares of Gail (India) Ltd ended at ₹155.90, up by ₹0.35, or 0.23%, on the BSE.
