NSE Holidays, Stock Market Holiday: India’s leading stock exchanges, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), will remain closed for trading on Thursday, May 28, 2026, on account of Bakri Eid, also known as Eid al-Adha or Id-Uz-Zuha.
According to the notification, trading in equities, equity derivatives and securities lending and borrowing (SLB) will be suspended on designated holidays. Market participants, including investors, traders and intermediaries, are advised to take note of these dates while planning their investment and trading strategies.
