Ajmera Realty Q4 Results: Stock jumps 18% after strong profit, revenue growth but margin narrows


Shares of Ajmera Realty and Infra India Ltd. surged as much as 18% on Monday, May 25, their biggest single-day gain in more than two years, after the company reported its fourth quarter earnings.

The company’s earnings in the March quarter were higher across most parameters when compared to the same quarter last year, barring its margins.

Ajmera Realty’s net profit came in at ₹58.4 crore in the fourth quarter compared to ₹24.2 crore in the previous year.

The company’s revenue in the fourth quarter was at ₹431 crore, sharply higher than the previous year’s ₹151.4 crore.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) more than doubled to ₹107.2 crore compared to ₹43.4 crore in the fourth quarter last year, while margins contracted to 24.5% from 28.6% in the year-ago period.

The company’s board of directors also recommended a final dividend of ₹1 per equity share having face value of ₹2 each for the financial year 2026. The same is subject to shareholder approval at its upcoming annual general meeting (AGM). The dividend, on approval, will be paid within 30 days of the AGM, the date for which would be intimated in due course of time, the company said.

Shares of Ajmera Realty gained 17.5% to hit an intraday high of ₹141 apiece after reporting their fourth quarter earnings. This is its biggest single-day gain since February 6, 2024, when the stock had risen 20%. The stock is down over 30% so far this year.
