The brokerage firm, Morgan Stanley, maintains an overweight rating on ONGC with a target price of Rs 363. Here’s why:

EBITDA is expected to rise 17 per cent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), mainly driven by higher crude oil price realisations. Net crude price realisation may increase around 24 per cent sequentially, while gas price realisation could decline by 1.6 per cent due to lower APM (Administered Price Mechanism) and NWG (New Well Gas) prices. Overall crude oil sales volumes are estimated at 4.72 million metric tonnes (MMT), down 2 per cent year-on-year (YoY) and flat sequentially. Gross crude price realisation is expected at US$77.6 per barrel, up 5.2 per cent YoY and 26 per cent QoQ.
