Kapil Sharma returned with the latest season of The Great Indian Kapil Show just three months after the third season concluded. The new season has already welcomed high-profile guests, including Priyanka Chopra Jonas and the Indian Women’s Cricket Team. While the previous two seasons struggled to make a mark in terms of viewership, season four appears to be steadily gaining momentum.
According to data released by Ormax Media, The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4 has secured the second spot on its list of the Top 5 most-watched non-fiction shows on OTT in India, registering a viewership of 2.3 million. Among non-fiction OTT shows, Laughter Chefs Season 3 leads the chart with 4.3 million viewers, followed by Kapil Sharma’s show. The The Great Indian Kapil Show episode featuring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, which aired last week, garnered a viewership of 1.5 million. Notably, in the previous week, The Great Indian Kapil Show ranked fourth on the list, trailing behind Indian Idol and Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9.
As per data released on Netflix’s Tudum, The Great Indian Kapil Show currently ranks second among the Top 10 shows in India. Notably, the show’s latest episode has featured in the Top 10 list across seven countries. However, on the global chart, Kapil Sharma’s show has yet to break into the Top 10.
After two well-received episodes, the third episode of the ongoing season will see Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri stars Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday as the guests.
As per the promo for the latest episode, Kartik Aaryan will be seen confessing that he hasn’t fallen in love yet, and Ananya Panday will also share her take on modern relationships. The actors will also witness a spooky spoof in the upcoming episode, while Sunil Grover will be seen mimicking Aamir Khan.
The Great India Kapil Show cast includes artistes like Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, Sunil Grover, Navjot Singh Sidhu, and Archana Puran Singh. The show streams on Netflix India every Saturday at 8 pm.
