Generali Central Life Insurance declares over ₹102 crore bonus for FY26

Generali Central Life Insurance has declared a bonus of ₹102.54 crore for the financial year 2025-26, benefiting more than 95,000 policyholders under participating insurance policies.

The insurer said the declared bonus marked a growth of over 21 per cent compared with the previous financial year. Over the past five financial years, the bonus amount has increased by nearly 75 per cent, according to the company.

Of the total bonus declared, ₹35.79 crore has already been paid through survival and maturity benefits, while the remaining amount will accrue and be paid in subsequent years as policy benefits.

The bonus applies to participating (PAR) products offered by the company, including savings-oriented life insurance plans that allow policyholders to share in the surplus generated by the participating fund.

Alok Rungta, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Generali Central Life Insurance, said the payout reflected the company’s fund performance and its focus on long-term value creation for policyholders.

Participating policies typically provide bonuses in addition to guaranteed benefits, depending on the performance of the insurer’s participating fund.

Generali Central Life Insurance, headquartered in Mumbai, is backed by Generali Group and Central Bank of India. The insurer offers individual and group life insurance products across segments such as term insurance, savings, retirement and wealth creation plans.
