Dak Prescott is dealing with an “incredibly tough” phase following his split from fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos, head coach Brian Schottenheimer said.
Speaking to reporters, Schottenheimer said he has been in regular touch with Prescott amid the personal setback. According to Marca, he said, “Dak and I have had a ton of conversations.”
He added, “He’s in a really good spot, obviously with what he’s dealing with is incredibly tough. But if anyone can handle it, he can.”
The comments come as attention grows around Prescott’s off-field situation ahead of the upcoming NFL season.
Wedding plans called off
Prescott had been set to marry Ramos, with the wedding reportedly planned in Italy. However, the ceremony was called off following developments during their joint bachelor and bachelorette celebrations, Marca reported.
Neither Prescott nor Ramos has publicly detailed the reason behind the split.
Allegations surrounding breakup
Reports indicate that Ramos ended the relationship over alleged “ongoing infidelity issues.”
Page Six reported that she believed Prescott had been communicating with another person during their relationship and had previously stayed for the sake of their family.
Additional claims suggested that Prescott may have used a social media account to send inappropriate messages to other women and former partners. According to the report, Ramos confronted him before ultimately calling off the wedding.
Emails announcing the cancellation were later sent, without further explanation.

With the 2026 season approaching, attention remains on how Prescott will respond both personally and professionally.
