RBI Assistant 2025 application edit window closes today as candidates get final chance to correct forms

Candidates applying for the Assistant recruitment under Panel Year 2025 in the Reserve Bank of India are approaching the final hours to modify their submitted applications. The correction facility provided through the official edit window is scheduled to close on March 15, 2026 at 23:59 hours.The Reserve Bank of India had earlier released an advertisement on the recruitment process and had subsequently sent out notifications to the candidates about the opening of a two-day edit window. This allows candidates who had completed their application and payment of the necessary fees to make corrections to specific fields in the online application form before the deadline.Correction fee and submission rulesThe candidates who wish to make corrections to their application forms are required to pay a fee of Rs 200, including GST. The fee is applicable to all categories of candidates and cannot be waived in any circumstances.The bank has stated that the latest updated application will be considered valid after payment of the correction fee. The candidates are also advised to make corrections to the latest application if they had submitted multiple applications.Once the deadline for the edit window closes on March 15, 2026, no requests for modifications, corrections, or changes will be accepted under any circumstances. The other terms and conditions mentioned in the recruitment advertisement published on February 16, 2026, are applicable.Eligibility conditions for making correctionsThe correction facility is available only to candidates who successfully submitted their completed online application forms along with payment of the required application fees or intimation charges during the original registration period.Candidates are allowed to modify and resubmit the corrected application only once during the edit window. Once the modified application is submitted, further changes cannot be made even if an error remains in the updated form. Applicants are therefore advised to carefully review all details before final submission.The bank has clarified that several fields from the original application cannot be edited. These include the candidate’s name, email ID, mobile number, correspondence address, permanent address, category and nationality.Edit window available for two daysAccording to the notice issued by the Reserve Bank of India, the correction window opened on March 14 at 00:01 hours and remains active until March 15, 2026. During this period, candidates can log in and modify certain fields in their submitted applications before resubmitting them.The edit window has been introduced to help candidates rectify errors in selected personal and academic details. However, the correction facility comes with clear restrictions regarding which information can be edited.Applicants can change only four fields during this window. These include the examination centre preference, the father’s name, the mother’s name, and the percentage obtained in Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.
