The Nifty closed above last week’s high but 23,000 still remains a barrier. On the downside, 22,500 will be the first level to watch, as the index reversed from those levels on Monday. Similar to yesterday, the Nifty Bank continues to remain the index to watch, with another 1,500-point recovery from the lows.
The index now aims for 53,000 on the upside, while the 51,000 mark has emerged as a key support. Business updates continue to flow with stocks like Jubilant Foodworks, CreditAccess Grameen and others reporting their quarterly updates.
