Indian benchmark index Nifty 50 is up 1% on Friday, April 10, recovering everything that it lost on Thursday. It has been in the green for six out of the last seven trading session. In this week, the index has risen over 5.5%, making it the best week that the index has had since February 2021. As many as eight of the 50 stocks have reported weekly gains of 10% and more. Here’s a look at all of them:
Shriram Finance | The stock has risen 14.45% in the past week. Like the Nifty 50 index, it too has recorded weekly gains after six weeks of losses. This is its biggest weekly gain since the week ending January 10, 2021, when it had surged 21%. The stock is 7.5% away from its 52-week high of ₹1,108 per share.
Adani Enterprises | The stock has gained 13.3% in the past week. This is the second consecutive weekly gain for the stock after rising 0.6% last week. The last time it had reported a weekly gain higher than this was during the week ending May 18, 2025, when it was up 13.5%. The stock is 25% below its 52-week high of ₹2,612.76 per share.
Axis Bank | The lender’s stock is up 12.8% this week. This is its biggest weekly gain since the week ending August 30, 2020, when it had risen 15.6%. The stock is 4.4% away from its 52-week high of ₹1,418.3 per share.
Tata Motors PV | The stock has risen 11.7% in the past week, reporting its biggest gain since the week ending August 28, 2024 when it had surged 13%. This is the best week for the stock since it began trading as an independent entity, demerged from the CV business of Tata Motors.
Bajaj Auto | The stock is up 11.1% this week. The last time it had gained more than this on a weekly basis was for the week ending January 24, 2021, when it was up 14.2%. The stock is 3.7% away from its 52-week high of ₹10,187 per share.
Bajaj Finance | Shares of this NBFC have risen 11.2% this week. This is its biggest gain since the week ending July 31, 2022, when it had surged 15%. The stock is 19% away from its 52-week high of ₹1,102.5 apiece.
Eicher Motors | The automaker’s stock is up 10.5% in the past week. This is turning out to be the best week for the stock in over two months, when it had gained 12.4%. The stock is 10.8% away from its 52-week high of ₹8,230 apiece.
Trent | The stock has increased 10% this week. This is its second consecutive weekly gain for the Tata Group stock, having gained 4.4% last week as well. This is also the stock’s biggest gain since the week ending February 8, 2026, when it had risen 10.3%. The stock is 57.9% away from its 52-week high of ₹6,261 apiece.
