Stranger Things Season 5 Twitter Review: After making fans wait for over three years, the highly-anticipated web series, Stranger Things 5, has finally dropped on Netflix. The sci-fi horror show, created by The Duffer Brothers, is set for its finale season after debuting in 2016. The Vol.1 of season 5, featuring four episodes, was released on the OTT platform on Thursday. According to X (formerly Twitter) reviews, some people loved it, while others weren’t very happy about the latest season.

Many fans praised Stranger Things 5, for staying as intriguing as it was earlier. A user wrote, “the way my jaw dropped and stayed open during the last 20min of episode 4… i mean OH MY GOD THAT WAS EVERYTHING (best believe i was crying and screaming all at once) #StrangerThings5.”

“THE STRANGER THINGS ENDING WAS PEAK NEFTILX I NEED ALL THE EPISODES NOW WILL WALK EM DOWN BYERS,” another person tweeted.

A section of people were upset with the ending of the first volume and felt the new season 5 wasn’t worth the long waiting period. “Please tell me i’m not the only one who cant stand stranger things,” a fan wrote. “I am a MASSIVE #StrangerThings fan, I’ve been watching since the beginning of time, but these duffer brothers really fucked this show. It’s corny as hell with these grown ass kids and dialogue #StrangerThings5 (sic),” another tweet read.

The show has received an encouraging 86% Rotten Tomatoes rating. It is likely to be updated as reviews continue to come in. For context, season 4 and 3 got 89% rating, season 2 received 94% rating while season 1 got 97% rating.

The volume 2 of Stranger Things 5, which is now a global sensation, will drop on Christmas (three episodes), and the finale on New Year’s Eve. Besides Millie Bobby Brown, the show also stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, and Jamie Campbell Bower.
