The dividend announcement was made alongside its fourth quarter results.
The final dividend payout is subject to shareholder approval at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), the date for which will be decided later.
Over the last five years, shareholders of TCS have received ₹457 per share as dividend. The company has also carried out two share buybacks during this period. You can read more on that here.
Along with its dividend, TCS also announced that it will be implementing annual salary hikes from April 1.

Shares of TCS had ended near the day’s high ahead of the results announcement, gaining 1.2% to close at ₹2,590.
