The SIP return over the period stood at a CAGR of 13.66%, the fund house said.
The scheme, which completed 17 years, had assets under management (AUM) of ₹56,392 crore as of August 31, 2026. The fund has delivered a CAGR of more than 13% since inception, according to the fund house.
For investors who made a ₹10,000 lump-sum investment at inception, the investment would have grown to around ₹84,044 over the same period, translating into a CAGR of 13.33%, Kotak Mutual Fund said.
Kotak Flexicap Fund is an open-ended dynamic equity scheme that invests across large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap stocks. Its investment objective is to generate long-term capital appreciation through investments in equity and equity-related securities, generally with a focus on selected sectors.
The fund’s Tier I benchmark is the Nifty 500 Total Return Index (TRI). It is managed by Harsha Upadhyaya, CIO – Equity at Kotak Mutual Fund.
As of August 31, 2026, banking stocks accounted for more than 23% of the fund’s portfolio, followed by chemicals and petrochemicals at 6.8%, pharma and biotechnology at 6.15%, aerospace and defence at 5.4% and retailing at 4.86%, according to the fund house.Past returns and SIP illustrations are based on historical performance and do not indicate how the fund may perform in the future.
