When one thinks of dinosaurs, the first creatures to come to mind are, most likely, the Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, or other giant long-necked sauropods. However, these creatures are extinct, which, technically, is not entirely true. Birds are the only living descendants of dinosaurs, and modern science classifies them as Dinosauria. It is essential to clarify that crocodiles, turtles, and other reptiles are not the descendants of dinosaurs.
